Herbal Sea Salt Body Scrub

Recommended for all skin types except for those with acne (use with care on sensitive and environmentally damaged skin).

Ingredients:
- 2 cups sea salt (preferably finely ground, but regular granular will do)
- ¾ cup extra-virgin olive base oil or base oil of choice
- 40-60 drops of either peppermint, spearmint, grapefruit, geranium, or rosemary (chemotype verbenon) essential oil

Directions:
- Use whisk to blend the sea salt and the base oil
- Add the essential oil drop by drop, blending after each addition.
- Store into a storage container with a tight-fitting lid.
- No refrigeration is required, but for maximum freshness and fragrance, please use within six months.

- 20 drops sweet orange essential oil
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
- 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- 1 cup of purified or distilled water

Directons:
- Combine and mix well the essential oils in a clean, glass jar with a lid
- For use, add 4-8 drops of this base to one cup of purified or distilled water in a spray bottle, shaking to mix.
- Store in a cool, dark place.

Directions
- Combine al the ingredient in a glass bottle or container and mix well.

Notes- No solvents were used in the extraction of this organic liquid Lecithin. It is currently listed as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) as a multi purpose food additive. Stores well under most conditions but extremes in temperature may cause a loss in quality. Ideal storage conditions are no less than 40 degrees and no higher than 100 degrees.

Benefits:
- Contains a natural mixture of triglycerides, phospholipids and glycolipids with a small amount of carbohydrates
- Has magnificent moisturizing properties, and helps to hydrate the skin.
- Has the unique ability to deeply penetrate the skin, and carry substances directly to the cells and the bloodstream. Because of this, it may assist the body in absorbing other properties as well.
- Has emulsifying, stabilizing, thickening, and suspending qualities.

Uses:
- Liquid Lecithin is a thick viscous semi solid resembling molasses and it may become further liquefied using a double boiler, microwave oven, or you may set your container in a pot of simmering water for 10-20 minutes.
- Suitable for both food and cosmetic purposes.
- Can be used as an emulsifier, thickener, stabilizer, mild preservative, moisturizer, and emollient

Notes:
- Lightly odoriferous and will scent your products in moderation. Suitable for food and cosmetic use and makes an exquisite ingredient withing culinary products, and especially chocolate.
- As an unrefined cosmetic butter it may contain natural sediments which will appear on the surface of the oil after the butter is melted. Straining the oil through muslin cloth is recommended, based on the product that is being formulated. For example, in soaps, straining may not be required. The usage of this butter in any cosmetic product should not be affected by its unrefined nature.
- Cocoa Butter is has a melting point at human body temperature, is edible and nutritious which presents many industrial uses.
